1.1 These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders, products, and services supplied by Victorian Print.

1.2 By placing an order, the customer confirms they are authorised to do so and accept these terms in full.

1.3 We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Quotations & Pricing

2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Prices may change without notice due to material costs, supplier increases, or specification changes.

2.3 All prices shown are in GBP (£).

2.4 Unless otherwise stated, prices may be exclusive of VAT where applicable.

3. Orders

3.1 An order is considered confirmed once:

  • payment has been received; or
  • written/email confirmation has been provided by the customer.

3.2 Customers are responsible for checking all order details before approval.

3.3 Once production has begun, changes or cancellations may not be possible and may incur charges.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment terms are agreed at the time of ordering.

4.2 We reserve the right to request full payment in advance.

4.3 Late payments may result in:

  • delayed production
  • withheld delivery
  • cancellation of services
  • additional recovery costs

4.4 Ownership of goods remains with Victorian Print until payment has been received in full.

5. Artwork & File Submission

5.1 Customers are responsible for supplying print-ready artwork unless a design service has been agreed.

5.2 We are not responsible for issues caused by:

  • low-resolution images
  • spelling mistakes
  • incorrect sizing
  • colour setup errors
  • transparency issues
  • embedded fonts or formatting problems

5.3 Customers must ensure all artwork supplied:

  • belongs to them or is properly licensed
  • does not infringe copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
  • complies with applicable laws and regulations

5.4 We reserve the right to refuse artwork that is offensive, unlawful, defamatory, or inappropriate.

6. Artwork Approval

6.1 Customers are fully responsible for checking and approving all artwork, proofs, layouts, and content before production begins.

6.2 Approval confirms that:

  • spelling
  • grammar
  • layout
  • dimensions
  • colours
  • contact details
  • positioning
  • quantities

have all been checked and accepted by the customer.

6.3 Victorian Print accepts no responsibility for errors identified after artwork approval has been given.

6.4 Any reprints required due to approved artwork errors will be chargeable.

7. Colours & Print Variations

7.1 Printed colours may vary slightly from:

  • on-screen previews
  • RGB artwork
  • previous print runs
  • supplied samples

7.2 Minor variations in colour, trimming, folding, or positioning are considered acceptable within industry tolerances.

7.3 Exact colour matching is not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing.

8. Production & Turnaround Times

8.1 Estimated turnaround times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless agreed in writing.

8.2 Delays caused by:

  • late artwork
  • customer approval delays
  • supplier issues
  • courier delays
  • technical problems
  • events beyond our control

shall not make Victorian Print liable for losses or damages.

9. Delivery

9.1 Delivery dates are estimates only.

9.2 Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.

9.3 Customers must inspect goods upon arrival and notify us of any issues within:

  • 48 hours for damaged goods
  • 7 days for print or quantity issues

9.4 We are not liable for courier delays once goods have been dispatched.

10. Returns & Refunds

10.1 Due to the bespoke nature of printed products, items are generally non-refundable unless faulty.

10.2 If a product is defective or incorrectly supplied due to our error, we may:

  • reprint the order;
  • replace the goods; or
  • issue a refund at our discretion.

10.3 No refunds or reprints will be provided for:

  • approved artwork errors
  • customer-supplied mistakes
  • minor colour variations
  • industry-standard tolerances

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 All designs, artwork, concepts, and content created by Victorian Print remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11.2 Customers retain ownership of artwork supplied by them.

11.3 We may use completed work for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless requested otherwise in writing.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the order supplied.

12.2 We shall not be liable for:

  • indirect losses
  • loss of profits
  • business interruption
  • reputational damage
  • missed deadlines caused by third parties

13. Website Use

13.1 All website content is provided for general information purposes only.

13.2 Users must not:

  • misuse the website
  • attempt unauthorised access
  • upload malicious content
  • copy website content without permission

14. Privacy

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
